History

Yvette has over 20 years’ experience in the capacity of divisional and national HR executive in the retail industry (FMCG and furniture). Here, her responsibilities included managing all HR and labour functions both divisionally and nationally.  In the past 10 years, she has become a member of Teutonic Business and H.R. Processes C.C.

Services Yvette specialises in include:

Christiaan's area of expertise lies in the field of finance.  He is a graduate of the USB Bellville Campus Senior Management Program, having completed articles prior thereto.

Before joining our team, he served as finance manager of a listed company and managed one of the Western Cape's largest self-catering resorts with a staff compliment of 150.

Jan Vermeulen

BA LLB degree (University of Stellenbosch)

History

1980 -1997: Jan was employed by the Department of Justice as a state prosecutor in the Magistrate’s, Regional and High Court, Cape Town. He resigned in 1997 as Senior State Advocate.

1997 - 2005: Jan practised as an advocate at the Cape Bar, specialising in criminal and labour law.

2005 - 2016: During this time period, Jan has stepped down as member of the Cape Bar and has since worked in private practice as a labour law consultant.

More about Jan

Jan was admitted as an advocate of the High Court on 26 August 1981. During his career he successfully completed the Arbitration Skills Course (gaining this qualification on 13 October 2000), thereby qualifying for selection as an Arbitrator at the Arbitration Forum.

During the period that he practised as an advocate at the Cape Bar, Jan also sat as a Regional Court Magistrate in the Cape Town Regional Court for a period of 5 years on a contract basis.
